The Animation & VFX Agency was founded by Stina McNicholas in 2024, with a mission to empower European filmmakers by enhancing their projects with beautiful animation and visual effects for award striving shows, delivering exceptional production value. Stina brings extensive experience as a Producer, with a background in VFX, having worked in advertising and on globally acclaimed feature films and episodic series. In 2023, she was part of the VFX team that won a BAFTA award for Special, Visual & Graphic Effects for their work on House of the Dragon.

Stina's film industry career took off in 2002, when she contributed to a range of feature films and prime-time TV shows in Germany's leading film hubs, Berlin and Cologne. After earning her degree in Production from the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, her graduation film URS achieved international recognition, making the Top 10 shortlist for an Oscar nomination in the "Best Animated Short" category. In addition to this remarkable achievement, URS also garnered numerous other respected film awards, solidifying its place as a celebrated work in the global animation film community.

With her expertise in film production and VFX Outsourcing, Stina now guides filmmakers to achieve exceptional production value. She also serves as a guest lecturer at film schools, sharing her invaluable insights and experience with the next generation of filmmakers.
